WILLARD--Roy Nelson, 71, of 80 E. 200 S., Willard, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1986, in the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden of kidney failure.
He was born Dec. 23, 1914, in Willard, a son of John and Rachel R. Baird Nelson.
He married Nola Orme on Sept. 25, 1938, in Ogden.
He had lived in Willard all his life.
He had been self-employed at Nelson Garage and had also been a farmer
He was a member of the LDS Church and had been a home teacher.
He was a hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are his widow of Willard, two sons, Ronald Roy Nelson, Brigham City, Robert Dale Nelson, Fairfax, Va., seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Also surviving is a sister, Carma Simper, Salt Lake City.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Petersen Funeral Chapel in Brigham City.
Friends may call at the mortuary Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services.
Interment in the Willard Cemetery.
