PARK CITY--Marion Bailey Lewis, 77, Park City, died Wednesday evening at a Park City hospital of an extended illness.
Born May 20, 1881, in Holladay, Salt Lake County, a son of Preston King and Sarah Coleman Lewis. He was an elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the time of his death. He has been engaged in ranching. He married Caroline A. Jones in March 1898 at Heber. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She died in 1926. He married Minnie Davis Jones in 1938 in Park City.
Survivors include his widow, Park City; two sons, Reed A. and Earl H. Lewis, and a daughter, Mrs. William (Stella) Yeates, all of Salt Lake City; three stepsons and a step-daughter; 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at noon in Park City Ward chapel. Friends may call Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. and Saturday prior to services at the Olpin Mortuary in Park City.
