Biographical sketch. Microfilm of typescript, positive, partial reel. 3 pp.
Born at Kirtland, Ohio, son of Isaac Morley, Sr., and Lucy Gunn. Arrival of Joseph Smith in Kirtland, where he lived for a time with the Morley family; appointment of Isaac Morley to go to Jackson County, Missouri; journey of Mrs. Morley and her family, with the Edward Partridge family, to Missouri; mob actions against the Latter-day Saints in Jackson County, Missouri, and later in Caldwell County, expulsion of the Saints from Missouri; settlement of the Morley family and others at Morley's settlement in Hancock County, Illinois; removal of the family to Nauvoo, Illinois, in 1845; exodus west.
